The University of Plymouth and the globally-renowned provider of next-generation software and digital solutions, Kongsberg Digital, are joining forces to create a new system that could revolutionize the UK’s floating offshore wind (FLOW) sector. By combining cutting edge simulator technology to provide a synthetic offshore wind environment in real-time and the university’s R&D expertise, the partnership aims to provide offshore wind project teams and crew with facilities to verify, test and optimize installation and maintenance projects.

DORIAN LPG (DK) APS SIGNS CONTRACT FOR INSTALLING KONGSBERG DIGITAL’S VESSEL INSIGHT TO ENTIRE FLEET OF LPG CARRIERS

(22.03.2021) Kongsberg Digital announced today that Dorian LPG (DK) ApS, a subsidiary of Dorian LPG Ltd.(“Dorian”), which is a leading owner and operator of modern VLGCs, has contracted to install Vessel Insight to its entire fleet of LPG carriers. By installing Vessel Insight, Dorian is consolidating collection of all critical data from its vessels in one common infrastructure. The agreement is expected to commence operation in the upcoming months.

KONGSBERG DIGITAL WELCOMES YXNEY TO THE KOGNIFAI PARTNER PROGRAM

(Asker, 08.03.2021) Kongsberg Digital and Yxney, an energy efficiency specialist helping customers achieve combined savings of more than 60 000 tons of CO2 in 2020, team up to offer shipowners and operators a unique tool for fleet energy management. Their Maress application will be made available to all Vessel Insight users on the Kognifai Marketplace on the 8th of March 2021 .
