KONGSBERG DIGITAL TO SUPPLY SIMULATION SOLUTIONS TO THE ARAB ACADEMY FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND MARITIME TRANSPORT

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) has signed a contract to deliver an extensive suite of advanced and multipurpose simulation solutions to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Branch in Sharjah (AASTS), United Arab Emirates. The state-of-the-art simulators enable highly realistic training scenarios for different vessel types in various operations and weather conditions, and will be used in training and assessment of the Academy’s students as well as crew from government and private organizations.

KONGSBERG DIGITAL CLOUD SIMULATION SOLUTION PROVIDES STUDENT TRAINING ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) has just been awarded a significant contract to provide the University of Cebu, Philippines with K-Sim Engine cloud-based simulation solution for its marine engineering faculty. The generous scope of delivery comprises in total 185 K-Sim Engine eLearning licenses, accompanied with instructor training capabilities. Certified according to DNV’s new class D standard and available via KDI’s digital platform, K-Sim Connect, the eLearning solution enables students at home to run online simulation exercises with the same engine models as the K-Sim Engine simulator systems already installed on the University’s METC and Lapu-lapu Mandaue campuses.
