KONGSBERG DIGITAL TO LEAD INNOVATION PROJECT FOR INCREASED GRID UTILIZATION

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) and project partners have been awarded funding from the Norwegian Research Council, Enova and Innovation Norway for a two-year project where the goal is to make better use of existing network capacity by enabling the use of flexibility in grid operations. The flexibility system will be based on KDI’s digital twin for grid operators, Kognitwin Grid.

KONGSBERG DIGITAL SIGNS CONTRACT WITH TRANSSHIPMENT COMPANY ROCKTREE TO DIGITALIZE ITS BULK CARRIER “RT LEO” THROUGH VESSEL INSIGHT

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) has signed a contract with Rocktree, a leading transshipment company based in Singapore to provide its Vessel Insight technology for the Supramax size Bulk carrier Modified to an Offshore Floating Terminal (OFT) “RT LEO”. Vessel Insight will collect critical data to increase efficiency and reduce emissions and operation costs of the vessel.

KONGSBERG DIGITAL SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH THE NORTHEAST MARITIME INSTITUTE TO DELIVER TRANSFORMATIVE CLOUD-BASED SIMULATION FOR GLOBAL MARITIME TRAINING

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) is pleased to announce a signed partnership agreement with the Northeast Maritime Institute (NMI) based in Massachusetts USA. This is the first partner agreement signed with a maritime eLearning provider and includes the delivery of a range of K-Sim cloud-based simulation applications for NMI global online students.
