Kongsberg Digital (KDI) has signed a contract with Asiatic Lloyd Maritime (ALM), a leading shipowner based in Singapore and Hamburg, to integrate KDIs Vessel Insight into ALMs new container vessels to reduce emissions and increase efficiency.

The contract enables KDI to provide Mintra with its state-of-the-art K-Sim Connect simulations as cloud-based subscription applications for use with the Trainingportal. This is Mintra’s learning and competency management system which delivers eLearning to workers in safety-critical industries including maritime and energy.

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) has won an important tender in which the company will supply an extensive range of maritime simulator solutions for South Metropolitan TAFE (Technical and Further Education) institute in Fremantle, Western Australia. Funded through the Department of Training and Workforce Development, this contract retains a long and valuable collaboration with SM TAFE, one of the largest and most influential maritime training institutes in Australia.
