Kongsberg Digital, OSO Hotwater and Saint John Energy will collaborate on a joint research project with the aim to reduce energy peak load and consequently reducing GHG emissions. By using Kongsberg Digital`s Digital Twin software Kognitwin, the project will identify future capacity requirements on the energy grid in the city of Saint John, Canada.
The University of Plymouth and the globally-renowned provider of next-generation software and digital solutions, Kongsberg Digital, are joining forces to create a new system that could revolutionize the UK’s floating offshore wind (FLOW) sector. By combining cutting edge simulator technology to provide a synthetic offshore wind environment in real-time and the university’s R&D expertise, the partnership aims to provide offshore wind project teams and crew with facilities to verify, test and optimize installation and maintenance projects.
Together with Computer Modelling Group (CMG), Kongsberg Digital have received funding from the CLIMIT-Demo Program to further develop leading simulation software for CO2 injection into depleted oil and gas reservoirs and saline aquifers. This funding is in addition to that already secured by a number of Energy Operators.

Kongsberg Digital is delighted to move LedaFlow forward on the innovation front as part of the two-year GELECO2 Joint Industry Product with CMG Canada to simulate CO2 injection into reservoirs. KONGSBERG is pleased to announce that Shell has just signed a five-year contract for the installation of its JAWS (Just Add Water System) software on board 45 of the LNG carriers chartered by Shell. These are LNG carriers which already utilize the Kongsberg Maritime K-IMS Information Management System application suite.
