Customer Success Manager/Lead

Kongsberg Digital is a provider of next-generation software and digital solutions to customers within the Maritime, Oil & Energy and Utilities industries. We are on a mission to digitalize these industries, and to support our growth, we are now looking for a Customer Success Manager/Lead to join our Digital Energy division.

As our new Customer Success Manager/Lead you will be responsible for driving adoption of our digital twin – Kognitwin® – services and ensure customer satisfaction and return on investment (ROI). You will be working closely with some of the leading Oil & Gas players globally and hold a central role in guiding them in their digital transformation.

What you will do:

  • Provide Kognitwin insights to customers to ensure that they get the most out of our services with the aim of helping grow our customer base
  • Monitor user behavior and proactively consult to fully understand the customers’ needs and actively solve pain points
  • Arrange client workshops and develop material such as value propositions and customer road maps to help execute the customer engagement
  • Build strong trust-based relationships with users at all levels of the client organization

 

In order to succeed in this position, you must have experience from delivering customer value, either through a similar role, a project delivery- or an advisory role. Because of the industry that we operate in, experience from consulting, SaaS or one of the energy players, is preferred.

 

If you also possess a Scrum Master certification and have domain experience in, or willing to learn, advanced analytics for upstream and downstream oil & gas, this is the role for you!

 

We also believe that you hold a Bachelor´s or a Master´s degree within a relevant field (e.g Engineering or Business), but we want to highlight that relevant experience can compensate for the lack of education.

 

Since our Customer Success team is growing, we welcome you to apply whether you have one year of experience (Lead position) or consider yourself as a more senior with minimum five years of experience (Manager position).

Software Engineer – Kognitwin

As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Software Engineer to join our Kognitwin team.

Kongsberg Digital´s Kognitwin is a powerful digital twin technology that recreates an asset, in a state of constant update, with contextualized information reflecting the status of the asset, all in real-time. It is a SaaS based offering powered on the Microsoft Azure platform, with high fidelity browser-based 2D and 3D visualizations built on our in-house technologies.

As a Software Engineer at Kongsberg Digital you will be responsible for implementing software to support the business of our customers and partners. You will work within a highly competent agile team, writing the code that will bring our customer´s assets and facilities to life on Kognitwin. You will be involved in continuously implementing, deploying, and driving new features as well as securing customer feedback. 

 

This is what you will do:

  • Understanding and analyzing project requirements and translating it into specifications and programming deliverables
  • Working closely with analysts, designers, product managers and clients to develop new product as well as to enhance existing applications
  • Developing, Testing and debugging the product in controlled and real situations
  • Continuously learn and improve skills
  • Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard
  • Produce well-organized, optimized, and documented source code

 

Our dream candidate has a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in programming/software development/similar, together with exceptional hands-on programming skills and knowledge with Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, MongoDB, Node.js, Kubernetes, Vue.js., C# and C++. Experience with InfluxDB or WebGL is a plus, but not a requirement. If you also have experience from using Microsoft Azure to develop and deploy services, you should apply for this position!

Process Consultants

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals with a strong motivation to take on challenging tasks in an environment driven by a desire to add value to clients, strong teamwork and practical creativity. Our clients include the major oil and gas companies, process plant operators, engineering service companies and academic and research institutions.

 

We enjoy a growing demand for our services worldwide and are now inviting candidates to apply for employment at our Houston office.

 

Typical projects include:

  • Plant Design and Engineering including process and safety controls verification
  • Design, engineering, configuration and installation of Engineering Simulators, Operator Training Simulators and DCS Check-Out Simulators
  • Design, engineering, configuration and installation of Production Management Systems and Leak Detection Systems
  • Multiphase Flow Assurance studies
  • Support and maintenance of delivered systems
  • FEED stage and detailed engineering design studies
  • Process optimization and de-bottlenecking
  • Design and control system verification
  • Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics for Production Efficiency

 

Tasks:

  • Build and configure dynamic process and flow models in K-Spice and LedaFlow
  • Run simulations for wide range of scenarios with built models
  • Implement Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
  • Hook-up and check-out control systems
  • Carry out dynamic process and control studies
  • Analyze oil & gas processes and plant control systems
  • Perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Candidates will preferably have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, process engineering, engineering cybernetics or similar from a recognized college or university. 

 

A minimum of 2 years of Process Engineering or Automation related experience is preferred in following areas.

    • Process Design and Engineering of offshore Oil & Gas facilities
    • Dynamic process flow modeling and simulation
    • Distributed Control Systems design and configuration
    • Flow Assurance in offshore Oil & Gas production

  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Able and willing to travel (about 10 -20%)
