Our K-Sim Engine simulator technology is now available as online /eLearning training applications on K-Sim Connect, our digital platform for maritime education and training.
As instructor you’ll get access to advanced DNV Class D certified simulation online. The cloud-based applications enable you to quickly create and distribute simulation exercises to your students, who can practice and prepare for their exams – anytime and anywhere.
A COMPLETE TRAINING TOOL for training anytime and anywhere
The K-Sim Engine cloud-based solution is easy to use and are provided with several different engine models with accompanying pre-made exercises, which gives you as an instructor the opportunity to easily get started using the subscription-based pedagogical tool.
Through ‘learning-by-doing’ students will acquire and improve skills in every aspect of the complex behavior of an engine room.
When the students have completed the exercise, you can download an assessment file with the score to give personal feedback.
The K-Sim Engine model library includes high, medium and slow speed diesel engines, gas turbine, diesel electric, water jet and steam propulsion. All of which can be provided as cloud-based simulation applications. See the library of K-Sim Engine models on the K-Sim Engine page.
